5 Reasons Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is Perfect for Young Kids

Traveling to Orlando with young kids can be entertaining, exciting, and…exhausting! To make the most of your trip I recommend choosing age appropriate activities and finding a place to stay that works well for younger guests. Here are 5 reasons I recommend Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort as a great Orlando hotel for families with young kids.

1. Pool and Cabanas
After spending hours riding rides and meeting characters, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek’s three-acre pool and lazy river offers a refreshing break for splashing and playing. The pool area is a young child’s dream with a slow moving lazy river where you are allowed to ride floats or inner tubes, a water slide, and a shallow water play area for the youngest kids.

As a treat for the entire family, consider one of the private pool-side cabanas. This provides shade and space for a napping child, chairs and a sofa for family members who want to relax, a stocked mini-fridge, and a television with Disney Junior!

2. Variety of Restaurants
When traveling with young kids, it’s nice to have restaurant options nearby so you don’t have to venture too far first thing in the morning or after a long day of sightseeing. Whether you want a quick bite or a full meal, there are many restaurant choices at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

On our earliest morning heading to a theme park we picked up a quick to-go breakfast at Muse in the hotel lobby, and when we had more time for a leisurely breakfast we ate from the breakfast buffet at Harvest Bistro. Guests can easily eat at the adjacent Waldorf Astoria as well, meaning there are a total of 12 restaurants to choose from in the hotel complex. And as a bonus, kids 12 and under get free breakfast and dinner at Harvest Bistro as long as they are with paying adults!

3. Proximity to Disney Parks
Visiting the theme parks is the main event in Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is surrounded by the Walt Disney World Resort. Besides being convenient to Magic Kingdom, the hotel is particularly close to Disney’s Hollywood Studios which is a great choice for younger kids. Attractions include Toy Story Mania, Muppet*Vision 3D, and Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure. Character meet and greets include Disney Junior favorites Sophia the First and Doc McStuffins.

Its convenient location to theme parks such as Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the reasons Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort is a great family hotel in Orlando.

4. Transportation
Walking from a theme park parking lot with a stroller or tired child is tough, but Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort offers a free Walt Disney World Shuttle that goes to all four Disney theme parks. What a relief to have a ride home after a busy day walking around one of the parks. The hotel also offers a shuttle from the airport to the hotel for a charge.

5. View of Fireworks
The fireworks shows at the Disney parks are spectacular, but it can be tough for young kids to stay awake for a show. At Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek resort, certain rooms have views of the fireworks at Epcot so the little ones can go to bed while the older kids and adults can enjoy the show. Be sure to ask about having a room with a view when you check in.
